Desitjosos de seguir creixent com a associació, diversos membres de MAC vam assistir el passat dissabte 5 d’octubre a la Mostra d’Entitats de Menorca, celebrada a Ferreries i organitzada pel col·lectiu Fòrum ETS Menorca.
L’objectiu d’aquesta trobada, de caràcter anual, és enfortir la presència del teixit associatiu a l’illa, cercant la col·laboració entre associacions d’àmbits molt diversos, gaudint a la vegada d’un entorn de germanor i comunitat.
Després d’un petit problema logístic sense importància, cap a les 10h vam entrar a la carpa i deixarem llesta la taula informativa, procedint a continuació a escoltar el manifest que encetà aquesta primera mostra d’entitats. Al nostre entorn, destacava la diversitat: gairebé quaranta associacions vingudes de tota l’illa es mostraven al públic, comunicant el perquè de la seva feina, informant als assistents interessats o xerrant una estona amb altres associacions.
Diversos tallers i activitats d’oci es succeïren al llarg del matí, des de contacontes per als més petits fins a un taller de fabricació de nanses, passant per una demostració del llenguatge de signes o una ballada popular.
Mentrestant, des de MAC anàvem coneixent a la resta d’entitats presents a la trobada, explicant els motius de la nostra agrupació a tothom interessat en saber un poquet més sobre la nostra història. Poc abans de l’hora de dinar – consistent en una deliciosa paella a càrrec dels organitzadors -, ens arribaven més macs de Ciutadella que s’incorporaven a la taula informativa, disposats a ajudar en la tasca informativa i també gaudir de la resta del dia.
Ja iniciada la jornada de tarda, els nervis anaven aflorant en apropar-se la performance que MAC havia preparat i que, potser pel motiu d’exigir la col·laboració directa per dur-se a terme, es va deixar com a darrera activitat de la mostra.
Sobre les 17h, es donà pas a una tertúlia sota el títol “Joves motivats per a la transformació social”, moderada per Guida Allès i en la qual com a col·lectiu hi teníem molt a dir, discutint, proposant i analitzant tot de propostes per a la millora del teixit associatiu illenc. Una xerrada que, per una banda, evidencià la implicació creixent dels joves de l’illa en assumptes socials, i per l’altra, refermà la idea de treballar per donar més protagonisme a aquest col·lectiu, que al cap i a la fi constitueix les bases, potser encara inexpertes però amb moltíssimes ganes, de qualsevol societat actual. Un bon concert dels joveníssims Desconnectats i una “batucada” del grup Myotragus precediren, per fi, la nostra activitat.
Desplegant el mapa de Menorca – realitzat íntegrament de mà de membres de MAC -, s’observaven uns valors – individualisme, retallades, ciment…- que no volem per a la nostra illa i que, per tant, calia corregir immediatament. I així ho feren els més joves de la trobada, tapant els valors negatius amb els seus equivalents positius: cooperació, benestar social o natura, entre d’altres. Va ser tot un plaer veure com petits – i no tan petits – s’animaren a mostrar el camí que Menorca ha de seguir! Després d’uns quinze minuts, donarem per acabada la performance col·lectiva i tornàrem cap a Ciutadella, a celebrar l’exitàs que suposà aquesta primera assistència de MAC a una mostra d’associacions.
Finalment, agraïm a tots els membres de Fòrum ETS Menorca la feinada realitzada per fer possible aquesta trobada, especialment a en Borja Pellejero que ens convidà a la mateixa i s’oferí en tot moment a ajudar-nos en el que poguéssim necessitar.
